• Dog Friendly: Many hotels do not allow dogs to stay in hotels (despite the obvious demand), so if you do have a pet, you should check on this before doing anything else. Even if the hotel does accept dogs, you should check that they are flexible enough to allow you to leave them in the room unattended.
• Times: Make sure you find out the check-in times so that it suits when you want to arrive. Some hotels will restrict your check-in time to 5pm which might be too late for you. Also, find out when breakfast is served - if you are an early starter, the hotel may not provide breakfast until after 8.30am.
